What is the general feeling on roof spoilers these days? I've liked them on some older 5-series but they don't seem to be a popular add-on for G30s.

You're right, not a popular mod on the G30. Personally this doesn't entice me at all. I think the stock trunk spoiler it's too small, so I focused on upgrading that.

Thanks Joe. That was the last of the exterior cosmetic mods.
There is always the next "thing" but I recently find myself lusting after an 8GC. Not in the cards yet given current economic conditions. But need to start squirreling away some Pennies.

Oh I get that. I'm always thinking of the next mod and the next car at the same time.

I'm think I'm done, but considering side skirts.

I personally don’t like it but hey it’s your car. If you like it go for it.

My 1997 Supra came witn this from the factory. Attracted a lot of dust from the way the air swirled.

Looks okay on a light colored car where you can see the contrast, but overall, not a mod that tempts me. I try to stick with BMW intended type mods, meaning it was an option or is sold by BMW (i.e. M-Performance).

has anyone noticed if the roof spoiler is functional? thinking its main purpose is to reduce the rear windows dirt buildup over time.

I had one on an E39, didn't see that it made a difference dirt-wise. But it was pretty low profile, not as aggressive as some of the ones seen in this thread.
