So for those who are interested, I placed an order for an individual paint 550i (British racing green) Monday, September 5th. Received the build number 10 days later. Production started week 46 and it was completed on November 18th. Made it to Zeebrugge for 11/24 and caught an 11/28 Grimaldi boat to NYC which arrived December 8th. Sat at the VDC for four days before going in transit yesterday and arriving at my dealer in Boston this morning. Three months plus 1.5 weeks which isn’t too bad at all (I think I lost three weeks for the paint but got incredibly lucky with the boat). Anyway, YMMV but I wanted to give some details around what build times are looking like now - especially with the individual paint.
