Had my 330d remapped
Went to Evolve yesterday to take advantage of their £350 remap/RR deal.
Car went on the rollers and produced 240.9bhp and 420 ft/lbs as standard. Post remap, 291.5bhp and 510 ft/lbs Initial thoughts; - car just feels more alive as soon as you touch the throttle - way more responsive - MPG - no idea, too busy nailing it lol - Smoothness - not sure if I can feel a difference - not exactly rough before anyway! OK performance-wise - I have to say that I have had remaps on other brands of turbo'd cars (Skoda/Volvo) and this one is by far the most noticeable over stock - the car is an absolute missile now - in any gear the thrust is amazing. It feels quicker than a standard 335d to me (ducks for cover) - but I need to compare it to a remapped 335d really........... Imran and co did a superb job and they really know their stuff - highly recommended |

Oh dear (digs into pocket in search of £350) can't hold back for much longer. Will be interested in MPG report once you clam down a bit!
Which map was this out of interest? |

The 330D auto has the same box as the 335D so if the 335D can take it
What torque do you get from a remapped 335d ? |

On average 700Nm but some maps go as high as 730Nm - which is probably the safe limit.

Good stuff MOB
I have shared in your delight when I got my 330d done - exactly the same views on the results as you - my MPG has improved slightly too (1 to 2 MPG) Only issue I have is I do not know the bhp or lb/ft as I got someone to come to my work and had it done there (£300) so no rolling road. I was informed it would be around 275ps and 450lb/ft but I really do not know as I asked for a safe map. A more aggressive map was offered and from memory thought was around 290ps but I was more than happy with a safe 275ps PhilR |

No problems with my map from Evolve, it hasn't missed a beat and I have pushed it as far as you can on the road.
I need to get it on a straight track and find the speed limiter |

The car hasn't missed a beat, returns 2-3mpg more than before and is still bloody quick - the novelty hasn't worn off at all I was doing 80mph (private road) the other day in the dry, booted it and the traction control light flickered for a bit |
