Congratulations, a Christmas baby is great, my son arrived at 06.14 on Christmas Day. We gave him an official BD on June 25th so that the two events were separated but when he got to 10 he asked to celebrate it on the actual day, which we then did. The family had by then been trained to give him two presents which they continued to do and we still do the same.

Cheers

Lol my best mates Bday is Dec 25th, his alternative is June 25.

His family did the same, which he still actually has, it does confuse some people though lol.

We just bought ourselves a new house for Christmas!!!

Got a good offer on ours on Saturday, found a new build house that we liked which is available immediately yesterday, and then did a bit of negotiating today and all sorted.

Best thing is, I get a double garage, with a 13 metre long double width drive, and due to some cheeky negotiating over the stamp duty, just added 5k to my weekend toy budget!

That I get a proper man cave too is a double brucey bonus...

Sutton Courtenay, which is a little village just to south of Abingdon in Oxfordshire. It's good for my wife's work and puts me more central for the team I manage. We were looking at Swindon for a bit as it's quite a bit cheaper, but this is better as Oxford is close by and it's a more interesting city, and we're still less than an hour from London. Puts me closer to good driving roads though.

New build too so the government will kindly loan me 20% for 5 years for free too!

Sounds nice but check it is not next to the old landfill site, an old friend of mine lives there and I know residents have expressed concerns.

Yes I'm aware of that one. It's Redrow too, but on the other side of the village and due to start work in 2016 I believe. This one is the one being built on what was a field thankfully.
What is also pissing off existing residents (no pun intended) is that the promised sewage system improvements for the new developments (3 in that area) haven't happened yet.
