Yeah my BMW 550 has been in Bremerhaven since 1/17. I ordered this car at the end of July and its been one delay after another. My SA said that it was a chip that was needed for the idrive screen that BMW was going to install at the port before it ships off to the US. When I run the VIN through the recall website, it says that there’s an open ticket for the RAM module which I thought initially it was being installed stateside but looks like it has shifted to Germany. Very Frustrating.

Good luck to everyone waiting- my car arrived 3/9 to NYC and has the PMA and receiver audio module open, dealer has no insight on when these might be closed. Hopefully will be able to take delivery in early April.

I'm guessing Brunswick -- a little closer to Florida. Dealer said check back in a few days as they did not show a ship assigned or a departure date yet.

Oh ok. We'd probably be on the same vessel then. My recalls showed up a day or two after getting to German port. Fingers crossed yours doesn't. Hopefully they had everything ready at the plant already.

Jeez, that's a long time to wait. Did you get an Individual exterior or interior?

I ordered July 3rd? and took delivery August 24th. What did you dealer say was the excuse from August to December?
