Lucky dude...My stuff was in the water far longer, but I wouldn't risk that ever again! Surprisingly, my pics were fine after the cards dried out.

Totall sucks and i would be craping bricks. But if it's a legit business, his gear should have been fully insured anyhow.

As a former wedding photographer, that's what he gets for being so intrusive. You don't need to stalk the couple like that. That shot can easy be obtained without walking right infront of them. Sucks though for the camera gear.
