BimmerCode AngelEye 100% Brightness Coding with Apple Devices
Greetings,
I own a 2017 G30 with adaptive LED headlights and one of the AngelEye LEDs burned the plastic part in headlight. As a result one of my AngelEye lights yellow instead of white at park/daytime driving setting (where LEDs work less than 100% brightness). But when headlights are on and angel LEDs at 100% brightness it looks white. So I need to code them to light at 100% at all times. Problem is: Bimmercode Android version doesn't have this feature. I asked the developer last year and he said that it will be added on next update, but there have been many updates and a year and it is still not on Android version. Can someone with an iPhone and Esys can code this and send me the parameter it changes (or at least before and after CAFD files) so I can code it manually with Esys. I'll really appreciate such help. Thank you for your time. Cheers,

On BimmerCode web page it shows supported. And I've talked with the developer and he said it is only available with iPhone version of the app. Did you try it with an Android Phone?

But when headlights are on AngelEyes rises to 100% brightness which makes them look white. So coding them to light up at 100% brightness at all times will mostly eliminate the issue

Unfortunately, no Since the burned LED also burned the plastic part integrated into the headlight (angel light plastic), changing the module won't solve the problem thx to its design

You can why these cars get written after what looks like fairly minor damage when parts like this cost so much.
Appreciate it's probably not a cheap part but this has to be a rip off, can it really cost this much to make one - really? Always found car parts to be a complete rip off price wise. |

Unfortunately the price the dealer gave from goodwill was also $1,100 (full price over $3,000)
