I need to replace the fake (I think) chrome tips on my wife’s 2017 530 x drive.

Can someone help me with the stock Part number and how to remove / install them. I don’t see a set screw. How do you remove them (

Any good non oem tips in chrome ?

Would like links if someone has a good source or stock oem or good non oem.

Are they peeling? On my X5, it's pretty common and I think they extended the warranty.

Here are the X5 part numbers, probably not helpful, but you never know, it may be the same.

Did you pull up the exhaust diagram on realoem.com? If not, here’s a direct link…I generically selected for the 530ix (not sure if the 530ex uses the same exhaust tip). The exhaust tip is #23 in the diagram and part number index…select the one that fits your car’s options (chrome instead of black or if you have the M-sport pkg):

Thanks. Not peeling but peeled. lol. Will call tomorrow to see if they are warranted. It’s my 2nd set since new.

It's probably "tailpipe trim" or "extension".

The exhaust tip for the 530ix with xline (chrome tips)...would be the one highlighted. You have to look at the supplemental info and answer the question yes or no. If you don't have the Msport or sport line pkg (answer is no) and your tips are CHROME...then that would be the part you select:
