I’m pretty sensitive to light when I’m driving at night and I hate how bright the display is but when I use the knob to the left of the steering wheel to dim, it dims my instrument cluster too.

Any way around that?

Another option is to switch it off.
In id6 I had a short cut button set to do that
Haven’t set it in id7 but for id7 push controller knob up to get the menu and it’s the last option on the right if I recall correctly.

I have a gesture for it. Really handy.

You can also do it via voice which is nice. Can also toggle HUD and ambient light via voice. Can be easier, and slower, than other methods for fully darkening the cabin.
