Uk BMW 540i Meet-up

Hey all,

I know through various threads we have spoken about setting up a UK 540i Meet-up.

So I have created a thread for us to arrange

Maybe we can do something over the Easter weekend I know it's soon but would be great to put names to faces and see peoples awesome machines.

Let me know

Thanks
The Zimmer

P.S Moderators I hope this is ok

Where did you have in mind?

Just an idea to put out there is the British motor museum. They have plenty of meet-ups there

Don't know whether you need permission to host "an event" or can just turn up as if going to the museum anyway?
A courtesy call might be a good idea , can't see them objecting though as it means extra ticket sales

Just called and spoke to them they can give us the Northern Arena which can park up to 200 cars.

Cost is £10 per person for the day so if let's say one car has 4 occupants that would be £40

I asked for availability and they said if I can come back with rough numbers and a few dates then we can book

Thanks AP for the pointer

Sounds good and would be nice to put faces/names to the cars we talk and share on here.

@The Zimmer - thanks for creating this thread

Another place is Caffeine & Machine. They charge Ł10 per car and you have a 3/4 hour slot when there.

I'm free most weekends... Let me know what date works best for all and hopefully I'll be able to attend.

another shout for Caffeine & Machine here as it ususally hosts a wide variety of modded/exotic cars.

Either are fine for me though, as both an equal distance from home!

Both locations proposed are good options, but I believe we need a bit more interest to make it worthwhile. Atleast 20 cars or so. I guess we are too late for this weekend now.

Too bad I can't drive it across the Atlantic. Sounds like a good time.

Hey all,

Reviving this thread as we are soon to hopefully be approaching spring and summer I was wondering what everyone’s thoughts were on a UK meet up ?

Thanks

Sounds good to me, Paul.

I'm sure alot of the others would still be up for this. I think the most popular suggestion before was the Motor Museum.

Yeah I'd be up for a meet. Also like the idea of the motor museum.

There's also Santa pod on a rwyb day, although that can be an expensive day out with entrance & signing on fees.

I suggested the British motor museum previously, I will add to that that on April 30th, there is the bmw meet up there
Tons of bmw s to look at
https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk...imate-bmw-meet

Biggest meet-up of BMWs in the U.K.

Just an idea…..

British Motor Musuem seems like it could be a great day out for sure I see the vehicle exhibition tickets are sold out now but we could all go as guests and just try to meet up somewhere before entry so that we can park near each other and at least find each other

I'd like to, but it's a heck of a drive! I would also need a very long bridge!
