G30 Water Blades

Has anyone been able to get these, or have had them installed in the US yet?

BMW Water Blades.

If so, any comments on results, experience and or cost for a dealer install.

I have not been able to find much here in the states, not sure if this is a UK only thing or not.

I found a link to a place near Malaysia that has it and in the UK, but there isn't any documentation I found in the US. I do know that the 3 Series did have the option in America, however I don't know if it's still an option..

This is the only MB feature I wish I had. Simply looks like some rubber hose extensions and the wipers.

Thought this was cool on a 3 series loaner. If they add kit in the US I’ll have it fitted immediately.

I wonder how well those will hold up in subzero temps. I can imagine them freezing up.

I experienced these in the 1990's on a Peugeot 405. 2 observations:
(1) they used large amounts of screenwash, much more than the regular system
(2) unless the whole blade is heated, count on them freeezing up at the slightest hint of frost...
