my bmw bluetooth audio through my bluetooth aux dongle has randomly started to sound very poor. no sound will play unless my phone is also connected to the idrive bt. it also shows i am somehow calling my own number on my idrive screen

i have tried disconnecting and reconnecting both bluetooth outputs

it has worked perfectly for around 6 months so im not sure why its not working now it has never called my own number before so if anyone knows anything that would be great as ive not managed to find a video or forum thread to help me much so far

I have not had this problem.
I would try deleting the devices in idrive, then repairing them, is this what you mean when you say you disconnected then reconnected? Or, did you just turn your bluetooth off then on again.

This is funny. Enjoying yourself? Do you mean you need another phone number to add to your phone book? Girls, help him! Is the dongle just low on power? It also seems your car might have Bluetooth audio streaming. You don't need the dongle at all in that case.
