front fender badge placement

Had posted this over on fest with no definitive response... Are there any euro G30 owners out there that can measure for the placement of the front fender Msport badge. Here in the usb our cars do not have it but many are putting it on.. i would love to know the distance from the door seam (towards the front of the car as well as perhaps the distance from the ground (hoping yo have 19' wheels or from the top of the sid air vent.. these should give me more info then strictly going by "eye"..

thank you in advance for any help..

I get a M-Sport Touring on Monday. If no one has provided the measurement by then, I will measure mine for you

Had a call from the dealer today. He told me the transporter driver noticed a problem with the front bumper, and refused to take the car, so I will not get it now until the following Saturday

I have just measured the placing of the badges for you... I have attached the photos so you can see where I took the measurements from, and the measurements for yourself. I hope this helps (forgive the dirty car... it's hardy stopped raining since I got it)!

Aside from the rear trunk lid ///M, there are no other exterior ones right?. The small ones on the wheels are hardly noticeable. I actually think the M5550 is fairly stealth, badge-wise.

in the ny area i never keep the rear badges on the car... on the west side highway driving in and out of NY city... you dont see cops pulling over 528s only 540s and 550s, same with mercedes and audi, lots of s' audis and same with amg63s... police here make a lot of assumptions that if you opt for sporty big engines you probably will use them.. i have debugged every car i have had for years.. this is the first one i "rebadged" love the front fender badges especially blacked out...

I have ask where you got the M badges from. I waned to put badges on the sides of my car when it comes but can't find a pair of mirror imaged badges. That way to look the same on each side. If there from BMW parts then a part number would be helpful. Help is appreciated.

They don't come in mirror image setup.
They come only in one direction.

Now, there are 3 different finishes.
- Chrome
- Black Chrome
- Cerium Grey

Mirror imaged? That would look sooo wrong. The /// always comes before The M.

To have M/// would be like a Mercedes having a badge that said "GMA" on one side.

That's just not how emblems work.

Do you know what "mirror image" means? The fake decals you linked aren't it.

I pray I won't ever have to see a car with those ugly pretentious badges.

I don't have to be opinionated to spot tasteless badge whores who apparently don't even know what mirror images are supposed to look like.

He’s not wrong that’s not mirror imaged. It’s not an opinion. Those specific emblems are tacky though but that’s an opinion. Not sure what driving in ones neighborhood would matter.

Which finish do you want? Chrome, Black Chrome, or Cerium Grey?

I figured I'll go with these from BavAuto. I acutely bought ones from amazon. They looked good but the color strips are fake & will come right off.

I want the chrome ones. Maybe I'll buy from bmw if you can help me with that #

Dunno if BavAuto are OEM quality

That one is the chrome I think.
The one that I have been selling a lot is the Black Chrome. All my customer prefers the black chrome over the chrome.
