Disable horn when locking car (while idling)

All,

So to clarify, when locking the car, while the engine is running, the horn will honk twice. The horn is very loud and sometimes draws unwanted attention. I haven't been able to find anything in the Idrive settings to disable this. Can this be coded out? I have both Carly and Bimmercode but don't remember seeing anything available in the BDC to code this out?

Set VAM_HORN_AT_SECURE to nicht_aktiv under BDC_BODY.

Yeah the Carly App (using the Carly bluetooth adapter) doesn't even have support for 6 out of 9 modules, BDC is one of them.

Bimmercode is saying my bluetooth adapter (Veepeak BLE adapter) does not support BDC and 3 other modules... so now I'll have to buy another more advanced adapter.....This G30 is something else...

Thanks, but I don't believe that's the honk that the OP is posting about.

Ah. Then I must never have heard this variation.

Yeah my car does the same and its the most annoying thing ever. I use it when I have my dog in the car and I want to leave it on with the AC and obviously want to lock the doors but the loud honking especially when in front of a retail location or something is really awkward.
