iPhone connected app supported apps

I saw lots of apps are supported but how do you quickly access or search the apps via the car?

E.g. Today I was listening to an audible book and wanted to launch Amazon music instead. Apart from touching the phone I couldn't figure out how to switch...

Any ideas?

If you download them from the App store they should then be on the connected drive sub menu. I downloaded one to the iPhone and it came up under the BMW Connected app in the car. Still can't get anything to work on my Android though.

Ouch. Well I'm finding it's not very slick. Like once my audible starts playing the only way to launch amazon music is to do it on the phone. Then on the HUD and the main display it still says audible.

Ok so I found that audible and Amazon music can appear in the connected drive submenu which is cool. Had to unlock the phone and open the app on he phone before connected drive allowed it to appear. Hope that was just a one time thing...

Unfortunately looks like it was.

When I click on media I can see my phone but when i click it it will only show the last accessed app. So if that was amazon music then that is all it shows. If it was audible then just that. So if I'm on audible and want to switch to listening to my iPhone iTunes music I can't unless I access through my phone.

Another gripe is that you need to have the speakers unmuted to access playlists or search media properly (at least via Bluetooth).
