I so much hate the headlights merging into the front grille...it's just a bad design element that keeps appearing and ruining all the cars in BMW's lineup. Thankfully in the newest 3-series spy pics this stupid detail seems to be gone.

Thats a cool render. I really like it. Maybe even starting to like bmw's design again with this.
I think it looks quate modern .. somehow a mix between 3er and 7er. --- "crome removal" options will be avliable for sure.

Agree, so here's the grill in black and, to complete the M-transformation, some nice M4 rims...

Thanks! I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I try to make my renders as realistic as possible...

Good job with the render. It's a good look being revealed there...... pretty aggressive to my liking

Really nice render; surprised I'm the first to mention this, but that beaded fog light in the "air intakes" is .
BMW - _please_ leave the ugly beaded lights to Mercedes and Acura.

Gosh, I feel so left behind with BMW's styling direction. I'm probably just too old, but we used to use terms like svelte and elegant to describe BMWs. To my (old, I guess) eye, everything BMW is now something more bulbous and SUV-like. I consider myself young at heart and very open to new things, but not everything new is better.
btw, I left BMW five years ago after driving their cars since 1984. I recently went thru another car buying process and tried very hard to get back into the brand, but I just couldn't get there. I ended up ordering a Jaguar XF-S. It's a brave, new world. The best of the past and the present, imo . . .

Still driving my e39 (since released) along with f32. The looks and build quality of recent models cant compare to oldies.
New 5er render looks good but not a appealing one to me. I dont know what to say, beautiful girl yet no charisma. |

Ok, now here are some light modifications that, IMO, would make a big difference.
My goal is to lightly change the shape of the bonnet and fender in order to slim down the headlight and kidneys, this slimming has the effect of stretching the car horizontally, therefore making it look wider. Slim lights give the car a more aggressive and sportier look. I've also changed the black part between the kidney grills to body colour. Before and after, with animated gif.

Looking even better, both aggressive and elegant - and a lot better looking than an F10. Let's hope it drives better too!

As for the rendering, I hope the car does look like that. I personally think the current 5-Series is one of the handsomest cars on the road. Those renderings look like a beautiful evolution of the F10. |

On the side, yes there is something above the air breather, but it's not an additional one. The fender has a deep contour as you've made which connects down to the air breather. This particular mule seems to have the small ///M badge applied and the camo pieces on top just happen to line up in a way that it appears there is something more substantial underneath. Looking very good though and almost there |
