Is it just me or does the steering wheel look off? Love the LCI steering wheel on F10- this one looks like they tried to hard.

I think there is an upgrade option for their Ceramic made knobs and switch gear but not sure if it has to be Individual. At least you can get it in the 7-series.

Two things that do it for me on the G30:

1. 3D Hoffmeister kink
2. Center stack aggressively angled towards driver (huge plus for me in terms of design).

I love that BMW sticks to these elements vs. other cars where they might have nice designs, but they don't always have a constant design element in each generation of cars.

Yes they did a good job on the hood.
Also love how it finally joins the kidney grilles again.
"Pedestrian safety" was indeed just a sorry excuse for a poor afterthought design.

I think the opposite of you, like the look of the new wheel, and never liked the LCI wheel.

You had me with that hood! Can't stand the cut line on my f80. Then again, the bump makes it impossible to see from the drivers seat :

Why isn't the part around the front camera painted? That looks funny.

They can use metal, however it would be hot to touch in summer!

I was going to say the same thing. I really like the design of everything but it looks kind of cheap (materials not features wise) especially the large amounts of plastic in the steering wheel.
To me they still need to set apart from the 7 series. It's not like BMW can't make every details luxury it's just they can't slap themselves in the face
Just my personal opinion.

The side and rear remind me of a Lexus. Interior is stunning. Front is amazing and rims are A+

My wife's car has metal adjusters on the vents. When you run the heat, they get red hot. Terrible design idea. Thankfully I'm in Florida so the 7 times a year we have to use the heat means this isn't a big deal.
