Yep, I'd never buy a 1st year either.

But at some point I'll consider the G30 or 440xi GC and the 550 will be the top of wish list to begin with.

I love V8's (see sig) and I say get em while you can if you can afford em. I don't know how much longer they'll be around unless in more exotic brands

What is the price?
My guessing would be between $80k and $85k for nicely equipped vehicle.

With that price, I guess you can get an M2 for a lot more fun and if you really nead doors you may opt for the M3 or even the 340
Or you can save a bit more and get a Honda Fit.
Thank you

It would nice to have it in North America now that Mercedes is bringing the E63 amg Touring, just saying. That said a M5 Touring would be even better.

I really hope the next gen 3 series looks like the new 5. It looks sporty and very elegant. Just need the interior quality and drive to stack up against the XE and C class.

Haha, I find it annoying too. Like WTF is point of launching a new model if its not better than the predecessors. They just couldn't find any better words to say. How the hell did they get the job

BMW will need to price and spec this car carefully otherwise people will ignore it and buy the M5. In some countries, the taxation on the two prospective models will be no different either and so BMW alone will need to use its levers to make this an attractive proposition.

A brilliant car and with outstanding engineering. I'll order one..... anyone heard about Uk price or launch ?

Say goodbye to holding any fcking value on a f10 M5
You would have to be desperate to buy today, wait a little bit longer.
2013 and 2014 will take a masssive hit in a few months.
Non CPO 2014 non-comp pack with hi 20- Lo 30 thousand miles can be had for south of $60. Putting pressure on 2013 to be near or under $50k very soon.
Its a car man. Not a priceless heirloom. The F10 M5 is a great car but I would not pay 100+K for it. Neither w the new M5 w AWD. Its a big car. I may downsize for the M3 at some point when it comes out because it will be the same size as the F10. Still the M5 is soooooo sooo fast and sooo soooo nice to drive. Cars are to be driven not be queened on trailers.

Not really. That much power is worthless without AWD.
