If buying outright, yes. If leasing.....S7 is still going for $1,300/mo...which is a joke for a $85k car. My M6 was $1,300 or so and MSRP is $35-40k more than a S7. My CLS550 was similar in price to the S7 ($85k) and I paid $900/month.

I saw the cars over the weekend parked at a BMW staging area for an event later in the week. Every color car was there. The deep blue MSport with brown interior and a weird solid white piping running along the seats looked half way interesting. Black with white diamond stitched seats looked pretty good too. Alpine white looked best, but it didnt have MSport package so was not in love with front fascia or the wheels. I did not feel that I wanted to trade 70k for one of those cars. Maybe 50k, or 500/mo, not much more than that. Personal opinion of course.

The G30 is clearly gorgeous and while I'm all for new tech, the "partial" digital gauge cluster with the "analog" speedo and tach markings look like an overgrown fingernail. If BMW wanted to save money, they should've swiped the F10's analog gauges. BMW is clearly not saving that much money as nearly the entire cluster is digital anyway. This reminds me of what they did to the F10 LCI: keep the bi-xenons but swap out the LED turn signals for incandescents unless you opt for the full LED headlights. And they had to spend money to redesign these "improvements."
Funny how no one mentions dead pixels, longevity, etc. I have iDrive and I love it. But if my screen fails and goes black, I can still drive the car. Wonder what happens when the entire instrument cluster fails? |

As soon as they start with the "basic/business" navigation in EU as as standard equipment, they will replace the half-digital display with the full analog one. |

Nope, no VIN. I ordered the car just a few days ago @Breeman. Delivery planned for end of April.

The pricing of the G30 (540i) at around 75k fully loaded is spot on with the F10. I don't understand people whining about spending that. If it's too expensive, go to a non-premium brand. With that being said, I don't agree with the 530i being in existence if it aims to attract buyers who don't want to enter the price point of the 540. Again, if your aiming for a 530 due to price, step down to a 3er or 4er GC, still very nice cars. Personally if the real world backseat space has improved, a 540i loaded up will be my natural replacement. Just wish wheel selection wasn't so "safe".
