Just did the swap this weekend, check it out. Changed the look of the car quite a bit, lights look pretty sick in person when they come on and super bright

How is the quality of the aftermarket lights? I had not so good experience in the past. Just want to make sure the fitment is precise like OEM and the quality of the LEDs are good. They do look great though! Debating these vs OEM LCI.

You would have to take all the trunk insulation out, well the matt out, the trunk locking mechanism out, and the left/right insulation pushed inward cuz the third screw holding the tails is inside on the side and there is no room anywhere unless you take the insulation out and by that I mean, pushed inward enough to take the screw off

It'll be about two weeks now, super bright, reverse LED is white and bright, the light up/unlock sequence is great, there is not much there for locking but who cares lol. They are OLED basically so they're bright and quality is great too, the plugs were a bit off but I pushed them in, didn't take too long to install once I was on it, I consider myself not very with installs etc but since I was the first one to ever even do it without any guide, you all can do it too without any issues, no special tools required, just 3 screw each on outer tails and 3 on inner each, 12 total. Car stands out cuz NO ONE here has them on any other bmw whatsoever lol

Bet! So the brightness is similar or higher than OEM? Btw, is the red color the same as OEM or is it darker?

I'm definitely sold on them. Did you get them for $750 on AliExpress? How long was shipping?

I think it is higher cuz those OLED's are separate and looking from behind, red color seems the same to me as OEM, they do have smoked version too so you could try that too.

Yes $750 for the lights but that's if you want free shipping and that could take 45-60 days. I didn't have the patience to wait so I paid FedEx 106 on top for shipping. From the day I placed an order to them making it, shipping it to Ali and Ali sending it to me, took about 25 days and install with my friend took about 2-3hrs. You can do it alone but another hand helps.

Remember there is no turn off sequence, I was expecting one lol so they just turn off like usual, I will try and see if I can upload a video here

Are the blinkers amber or red? It’s hard to see on their webpage. I only see one version now. No smoked type. No rewiring needed? Any error codes? How is the quality? Wonder what the return options are if they are not compatible. Do the lights blink when locking at least?

Blinkers are sequential and amber

Yeah that's something you message them and tell them which one you want

No rewiring needed, no error codes, it is plug and play.

Quality is great and they are super bright just like OEM. Return options not too sure but you're gonna have to pay some good shipping price so that's on you. Yes flashes like OEM does but that's something you can turn on or off depending on the type of coding you did to the car on your OEM setup

What lights up when you brake? It seems its just the small light on the outboard lights. If you can update your video for that because otherwise it may not be enough warning for someone behind you. Trying to decide between these and the LCI upgrade which would definitely be more expensive.

You are correct, just the outer tails light up because the inner tails are rear fogs like they would be in EU.

They are very bright, no chance you would miss it but I will try to get a video and post because along with outer tails you still have center rear windshield mounted brake light
