Annual Service - Car has been Coded - Will I be in trouble?

I have the second service on my 2019 530e coming up due.

I have used BimmerCode to do some coding on the car.

In particular, I coded the trunk to need a 10 second press to release, I coded the initial warnings on start up i.e. "Do Not rely on Backup Camera" to not display, etc. And I coded the tire temperature to display on the dash. So nothing crazy.

Should I 'uncode' these items prior to taking in for service? Will they know I did this? Will they give me a hard time about it?

Thanks in advance.

I didn't have any issues with mine at last annual service and I changed quite a lot using BimmerCode. They even had to update/refresh the iDrive software due to an iPhone connectivity issue. Service tech and manager never mentioned a thing.

The only time it would be an issue is if they need to flash your car for any TSB or other reason. You'd possibly loose any items you modified and would need to re-code them.

I'm good with that....just don't want them denying warranty or anything based on the fact that the car has been 'coded".

No issues here either with my service department. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

no problem with regular maintenance; if the car's software gets updated, however, the Bimmercode settings may be reset to default and you have to redo the coding.

I did have to reset everything. I can verify that this is 100% true.

I coded my f10 and during service, nothing was said. As others have stated , if they do a software update you will lose your settings

When I traded my f10 in, the sales guy did notice ( I had ass coded off) and made a comment if it had been coded. I said yes and he asked if it could be coded back to defaults , said I couldn't . He said the new owners would probably prefer this setting anyway! Nothing else was said
