Experience with H&R Lowering springs for 530e

It looks like the only manufacturer of lowering springs for the 530e is H&R. Has anyone installed these and could share their before and after pictures. I can't find very good pictures online or on their website.

Thanks, Chris

I have installed one to my local customer.
Unfortunately it was done before H&R came out with specific spring for 530e.
My guess with the specific 530e spring, the rear will be higher than non 530e spring.
That was the issue with using non 530e spring due to its battery weight in the rear.
Ride wise it was tighter than stock, not bouncy.

Yes, it has been out for couple months now.
I haven't install or sold any of them yet.
I guess not too many 530e owners modding yet.

Looks good.
1/8 lower in the rear would make it perfect.

I have H&R springs, bolts and spacers for the 530e. I just took them off after about 3k miles (like new) to put on the G11 20" wheels.

They are for sale if anyone is interested. PM me..

Just finished installing the H&R springs and 15/20mm spacers. I guess I can only post a link to pictures. I'll try to get that asap. Looks great though, and I like the feel.

Yeah, I agree. Too bad we can't get those 20's from the factory here in the US like that white car. haha

No way, not at all. The ride is actually great. For me, the stock suspension was too soft anyways, so the little extra firmness I'm loving. No bounce at all though.

Just got mine done. I like the ride much better. Pretty happy with the way it looks, could be a bit lower in the back. Used 12.5 and 17.5 spacers.

It looks like they messed up my parcel shelf though, see pictures. Anyone know why they would have needed to remove that to change the springs? Have to try to get them to admit this now, have before and after pictures. Hopefully they didn't mess up anything else

Getting my H&R Springs installed on my 2018 530e and body colored reflectors front and back installed tomorrow and very excited!

Curious if electric range changed for either of you with springs and/or spacers? Also, on spacers and bolts, did you buy from H&R or somewhere else?

Hello all,

Just wondering if installing these springs will void my warranty with BMW. Any help is appreciated.

That is most likely because to access the top of the rear struts to remove your stock springs are under that rear panel. So yes whoever installed the springs would be at fault for messing that up or not re-installing that panel correctly.
