I'm now week 41 (middle of October). I didn't ask why it was pushed back. Maybe by the time mine goes into production the alcantara headliner will be an available option again.

Not yet...still have it confirmed. But if residuals improve on the MY19 M5 in the next few months I may switch. I spoke to my CA today and with a week 41 build my car is scheduled to complete production the week of Oct. 7 - 13...so that would put it arriving to my dealer sometime in mid-November. So I will watch what BMW NA does with residuals on the M5. My dealership said they'd have no problem selling my M550 if I decide at some point to switch...so it's really up to me.
Problem is a colleague of mine just picked up his Azurite Black M5 and I've riden in it several times now...and I'll admit...it is tempting!

Put a Dinan Stage 1 tune for $1,700 on the M550 and you can just about match the HP of the M5. Plus, you get a nice ride and a car more usable on todays roads here.

Here in the U.S., there are 4 options they list as "individual" and come with a $1,950 upcharge. Azurite Black, Rhodonite Silver, Champagne Quartz, and Almandine Brown. If you went with another individual option beyond these colors, you'd be looking at a $5,000 upcharge in the U.S.
