I powder coated the rims, wrapped the roof, blacked out the chrome on the handles and tinted the windows. I left the grill, lower bumper inserts, side vents and mirrors the unique flat metal look that matches the aluminum interior on the M'd car.

It does seem to vary at times, but I've got RFTs and Michelin tires. Don't know if the variance is by region or if it's what they happen to get a deal on a production time.

Picked up my champagne quartz over tartufo yesterday, but it rained all day today so no pics. Here is a pre-delivery photo. Will take more over the weekend after I clean it up.

The color is very "complex" and changes from gold to gray, to slight orange colors, to even a light blue hue under fluorescent lights.

Even in that night-time picture the Champagne color looks gorgeous - congratulations on your new car!

Unfortunately, when I ordered my car that particular hue was not available.

I took a dozen photos of my just delivered champagne quartz 550 and every time I try to post one I get an error message that the file is too large. Never had this issue in the past. What am I doing wrong?! Any insight on how to post these? i took them on a Canon digital camera and saved them to photos on my mac.

when you click on manage attachments and a window opens to select the files, there is a list of max file/pic size info at the bottom. You have to make sure that each pic is less than the max. You can resize photos in any number of programs on the PC but I'm unfamiliar with the MAC programs that might do this.
