First custom build 2018 BMW 540XI

Hello all
Thought I share my first ever custom build car

I currently own a 2008 bmw 528 and It's been time for an upgrade

Here is my build listing below

Alpine white
20" 759 wheels
M sport package
Executive tier package
Black NAPPA leather
Driver assistant package
Remote parking
M sport brakes

Everything came up to 72k, I put 5k down and got 5k incentives/rebates, with a monthly lease of $677 (tax included)

Allocation slot Monday and that's when I will be given my production number
Can't wait

Just wanted to share, I learned so much on this forum

Good day to all

Yea, money down on a lease if a huge no-no. You drive the car off the lot and god forbid it gets totaled, your never seeing any benefit from that $5k. Insurance is going to see that the collateral needs $5k less cash to satisfy paying it off completely and the value is going to drop as soon as that car leaves the dealer's parking lot.

In Canada, no money down is rarely an option. Haven't seen that option here at all.

There another post where someone put $17K down on a lease. I almost fainted.
