2020 M550 fuel range question

I have a 2020 M550 that I got in June. Due to covid and working from home the car only has 700 miles on it. The fuel range on fuel tank shows 310 miles when full of I can remember correctly. Is this max range or will range expand when I pass certain mileage.

My other car did this same thing and when I passed a certain mileage point the fuel range expanded to max capacity.

Will M550 do the same or am I seeing max range already. Seems like even when I take it out on the weekend I end up having to put gas in after few times driving.

It bases the range off your long term MPG. If I chill out I can get about 400 miles to a tank.

On highway cruising I've driven over 500 miles on a tank. I was on fumes but its possible. Around town or having fun, < 350 is normal.

On drives to DFW and back, from San Antonio, I consistently get 30-31mpg in cruise control at 75+ mph. Around town is less, and, of course, if I engage sport or sport +.......well, who cares about gas mileage at that point!
