Tracking
Anyone got the front tracking specs? I’m trying to get hold of them so my local garage can track the car.
The tyres are getting scrubbed on the outsides. Many thanks 👍 |

Front camber is non-adjustable due to double wishbone design. I think you'll have to get adjustable lower control arms (camber kit) to adjust camber. Not sure if anyone sells for G30s, but I haven't really looked.
Mine also exhibits excessive scrubbing on the tire outer edges due to lack of negative camber while driving around corners very aggressively. My front camber is -0.7 degrees which is not enough for aggressive cornering on such a heavy car. Just out of curiosity, what tires and pressures are you running? I have Michelin Pilot Sport 4S and ran 33 psi cold which I think exacerbated the issue. I bumped it to 38 psi cold and the wear has slowed down somewhat. I would try that.

Tracking a car at an HPDE on a race track requires a more aggressive camber setting. Resolving straight line tracking issues requires a toe-in setting. I don't know the factory specs. Tracking the order/shipping of the car is irrelevant to this thread

Lol yeah I read it as OP is looking for alignment specs for “tracking” the car as in driving aggressively on a race track. But after reading it again, yes it does seem like he is asking for toe specs to insure the car is “tracking” in a straight line.
For G30 with M Sport package, front toe should be 0.03-0.10 degrees. Front total toe should be between -0.07-0.33 degrees. Rear toe between 0.13-0.20 degrees and rear total toe between 0.13-0.53 degrees. |
