Absorber shock oil leak / warranty issue
Hi guys
I was changing tires last week and I noticed oil leak around the rear right absorber shock and the weird part is that I don't recall running over any super big potholes or holes recently. The car is running on dynamic damping shocks which is expensive to replace. My dealer gave me an initial impression that these types of damage cannot be fixed under warranty. Is that true? |

How are they saying it was damage or wear and tear rather than a warranty item?

I would think that unless you did something harsh enough to damage a rear wheel, that the leaky shock should be covered on warranty.
