I recommend 245/35/21 and 285/30/21. With the wider wheels you have & the offset, you can even do 265/30/21 and 305/25/21 if you're planning on lowering.
Thanks for the info!

I was considering all of that, but I've just spoke with my local wheels dealer and they recommend going for a 20" set. They say that non-RFT 21" tires could damage the xDrive system.

I'm not really sure what to do at the moment ..

If the tires are RFT or none RFT it will have zero effect on your xdrive system. The issues that you will have for the xdrive is when you use different overall tire diameter front to rear. As long as your overall tire diameter is the same or within 0.5% up or down, you will be fine.

That's just the info I was searching for. Thanks

For the size I was going with 255/35/21 and 295/30/21, the overall diameter difference of front vs rears is 0.2%, which is okay.

When comparing the overall diameter of factory 20" wheels to the 21" I was planing to set up, the difference is +6%. The 255/30 and 295/25 are closer to the factory setup, +1.2% difference.

Not so sure what to get. I don't like the stretched look, not my thing, but I really like how the 21" looks ..

I recommend 245/35/21 and 285/30/21. Or if you have wider wheels and correct offset you can get away with 265/30/21 and 305/25/21. Don't use 255/35/21 in the front, it rubs sometimes lol I love the way it looks but hate it when I hear it rub!

See attached my winter setup on my M550I, this never rubs
Fronts
245/40/20 on 9" wheels 30mm offset.
Rears
275/35/20 on 9" wheels 30mm offset

Btw I mounted the 275/35/20 on the front to see if it fits and it fits but I didn't drive on it though. I wonder if it would rub when you turn.

I like those wheels better than your summer wheels. More sporty

Thank you! I like them too. Best part about them is the grey matte finish hides the dirt so well. Very easy to maintain with a wheel cleaner and pressure wash.
My summer wheels are more luxurious looking!

Congrats on the car! They’re awesome cars.
Depending on your wheels setup I can recommend different tire setups.
If you get the oem wheels I would do one of either setups since they come in 8” wide fronts and 9” wide in the rears.

For OEM wheels

Increase the profile size +1, which is what I’ve done.
245/40/20 recommended wheel width is 8-9”
275/35/20 recommended wheel width is 9-10”

Or increase the width +1. It’s a little bit wider than the recommended wheels but some members have done it.
255/35/20 recommended wheel width 8.5-9.5”
285/30/20 recommended wheel width 9.5-10.5”

You can go with wider tires +2 If you get aftermarket wider wheels, you can go with 9” fronts with 25-30mm offset and 10” rears with 38-41mm offset.
265/35/20
295/30/20
