BMW Xdrive front halfshafts repair

Dear members,

I've been recently facing a problem with the cv-axle joints on my m550i from 2017.

The cv-axle joint boots on both sides probably cracked open a while ago and I did not act in time. I didn't notice anything weird.

I've asked at my local BMW dealer for cv-axle joint repair kit but, they stated that there is not such a repair kit available. There is only a cv-axle joint boot repair kit available.

Two new halfshafts costs roughly around $2500 so, I decided to look for second hand ones. One of the second part websites states that the halfshafts of the m5 f90 does suite my car.

Is this possible?

My transmission code according to BMW is "GA8HP75X"

Whar are your suggestions or any tips about this topic?

Thank you in advance!
