Try this:
https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_4306

That should give you the part number and you can go shopping from therein.

You may find some more information here: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/g...0i-xdrive-lim/

I've taken one of these apart before to install dashcam, not too difficult but they can break easily.

.
When you click the link High Flier posted...if you're not familiar with the TIS website...simply type the following phrase into the search box: Remove and install/replace the interior mirror...and you should get some results that will link you to the instructions for removal.

Good luck.

Trying to tap my radar detector to the review mirror. I assume the brown wire is ground, but I don't have my multimeter with me. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or know where I can find one? Thx

New plastic shield popped in with no problems. I believe inorder to remove you must push up then back to release clips otherwise you will break them like glass shop did to mine.

Click the following link, then type in the last 7 digits of your VIN (or select accordingly). You can try typing a simple search word/phrase (like interior mirror) to narrow down the results...or work your way through the site. The wiring diagrams (SSP) have embedded links that you can click on to take you to additional info. And the (PIB) links will reveal the wiring numbers etc.

I'm searching for this also, but it looks like I'm about 3 months too late as the referenced site has been shut down at the request of BMW AG. There is a link on the page that takes you to BMW's technical information system that's behind a pay wall.
