What's the ride like with your lowering springs?

I finally got rid of the run flats last week and hot Ps4s. Ride is so much better.

They are a much squarer side wall so 15mm at the back almost doesn't look enough! [IMG][/IMG]
I'm not a big fan of the arch gaps that the xDrive BMW saloons have. My F30 335d was lowered on ACS and got rid of the floaty feel. This too has got rid of that boat feel and feel much more planted giving you more confidence when putting the power down.

I ran 15mm on the front with the 759i wheels but as the BBS poke out 4mm more, I had to drop in spacer size or raise the front slightly - the BBS on 15mm spacers were rubbing slightly. With 10mm on there is no issues.

I think 20mm would be spot on, on the rear but would mean getting longer bolts for the back and having 2 locking wheel nut sets etc...

This is mine lowered on 759i...

Looks spot on

I'll have to find somewhere in Dublin to fit a set as the ride height is the thing that bugs me.

Strangely I've seen brand new and 2017 530d on Bmw forecourts. Done with an even bigger gap and some with much less.

Congrats on your car, best bluestone g30 by far.

Thanks bud,

You'll see the improvement once you get it done.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with yours too.

Thank you for your kind words

I've had my CPO 2018 M550i since July of 2020 and I absolutely love the car. I've owned two F30 328i's and this is my first 5 series. The car is very well balanced to allow you go from mild to wild as you please. I built a Factory Five Racing Cobra replica and that car with its 0.2 h.p/lb. power to weight ratio is challenged by the M550i, which can apply all its power and torque without melting the rear tires.
