I put a deposit in on an X3M so it is sadly time to sell my babied, low mileage, tastefully upgraded 2017 540i. This is my 6th BMW and I am a long-time enthusiast and obsessive when it comes to maintaining my cars. Dealers are offering laughable trade-in numbers so rather than put the car back to stock and have the dealer flip it I want to sell “as-is” to an enthusiast on the forums who will appreciate it.

Regular oil and fluid changes with all service records available, never driven through a touch car wash!

Full disclosure: The Carfax report shows minor damage reported. This was NOT from an accident or collision with any other vehicle. When installing the M performance side skirts the jack slipped and damaged the front passenger fender. The aluminum is almost impossible to repair properly so the fender was replaced with a new OEM BMW one. I have pictures and all records relating to the repair and the shop that did the work only uses OEM parts and does excellent work. I will post a pic of the fender here.

In summary, this is a low mileage, well maintained car with tasteful modifications that were all properly installed without butchering any part of the car. I hope the X3M gives me as much joy as this one has. I am including all OEM parts for the new buyer as well.

I am located in NY and I am listing the car at $30,000 with everything above included. I took some pictures today and will post more photos tomorrow.

Any records of service or OEM parts replaced (Cooling/Suspension/Drivetrain components)?

I bought the car in 2019 and have put 20,000 miles on it since then and it has been virtually trouble free. The only items I have had to replace outside of regular maintenance are the seat occupancy sensor, steering wheel vibration module and a front thrust rod/ball joint was replaced soon after I bought the car. My dealer fixed all of these and I have all records.

Otherwise it has just been regular maintenance including oil changes and brake fluid flushes and I have records for everything done. I replaced the engine and cabin filters myself but have receipts for the OEM parts used for that. I also put in all new OEM spark plugs myself about a year ago.

The M sport brakes were installed about 6 months and were purchased from a forum member who only had 7,500 miles on them so lots of brake pad and rotor life left.

If I make a deal for the car put back to stock I would part out but definitely not ready to do that yet.
