Front Lip fitment
Hey guys,
I have a '23 M550 and I want to know for all those who have added a front lip, does the slight bumper changes make any differences for the hole alignments or fitment of lips. https://norcaldynamics.shop/collecti...ance-front-lip Here is an example of a lip that I want and I reached out to this NorCal about this question but I haven't heard back in almost 2 weeks. Any recommendations/ information would be awesome. Thanks! |

Also you just dropped 85k+ on a brand new car (I have a 22 550i so I’m pretty aware of cost) and you wanna install a cheap $300 lip? I’m not judging but your beauty deserves great parts! I’d spend a few bucks extra for a higher quality product from a company that wants to earn you business |

Cost I’m willing to pay as long as I know the fitment is good and it’s the style that I’m looking for. |

This is not an OEM part. I highly doubt anything is going to line up with anything. Most lips require drilling anyway, there are no pre drilled holes under there, trust me.
I would be weary of this company, even the description is telling. "BMW G30 M5 PERFORMANCE FRONT LIP". No way this lip fits a G30 and an M5. If you just want a gloss black lip, you are better off going with one of the eBay or Amazon options for $100ish. Honestly, lips are throw-away as they will get eaten up.

While Joe is right, odds are not in your favor that a lip will last, I still rolled the dice myself and got RW Carbon because it was my favorite style.
I had the same lip on my m340i for 3-year lease term and it was still in good condition, but there were several small dings/cracks from road debris. Way I see it, either go cheap and be prepared to swap often, or spend a little extra and do your best to avoid damaging but don’t expect to pull it off. |
