jb4 with bluetooth and flexfuel wires for sale

I have for sale my jb4 with bluetooth and flexfuel wires.

Just took off my 440x drive - now have a 550 thus can no longer use it. Fits the 3.0 v6 turbo engines.

You’ll still need to get a tune for that since the JB4 by itself doesn’t rewrite anything in the DME. Only a flash does that. People use a JB4 along with a flash for logging and more control and stuff (I’m no expert on it so I’m not exactly sure how that works).

Got ya. I may just stick with DME Tuning. They have a local spot i can get a tune done.

The JB4 doesn’t remove the speed limiter but it definitely adds more power. It might not be as smooth (wrt to power delivery) as a flash tune but it works. I’m running a JB4 because my car couldn’t be flashed (updated software from BMW). The JB4 makes the car lively. The B58 has a lot of options. The JB4 can be installed easily and removed when you take it in for services and stuff. They won’t look too hard and hopefully, they won’t deny warranty lest anything happens. With a tune, it’s easier to see that the DME was flashed and they don’t have to dig as deep to find it. And they can void powertrain warranty.
People will say things like “Even a piggy back will void warranty” or “Magnuson-Moss warranty act will help you in case you need warranty on a tuned car”. But in reality, it isn’t that easy or straight forward. So yes.

As long as you know pros and cons of both, go ahead with your choice and let us know how the car feels like after wrt to power and stuff
