Drivetrain malfunction since BM3 flash? call this guy!
Long story short :
My 2018 540i xd got those problems after BM3 flash So I try to flash back OEM MAP and got the same problem and I try to contact BM3 support team and they let me call BMW dealer . My friend recommend I call this guy (KEN 718-232-2218 LOCATION 8691 18AVEBROOKLYN NY 11214 ) can he fix this problem within 1 hour and he shows me this only cost $500 but I need tow my car to the shop |

Hey, I have a 2018 540i xd as well and got the same message. I couldn't shift into any gears. I contacted PTF support and they scheduled a remote session in which they were able to fix the problem for free.
I highly suggest you contact them again and get a remote session. Save your $ |

Keep working with BM3. Milan told me the same crap about having BMW inspect the car but Serge hooked it up and my tune has worked great ever since.

This is because your tune is saved in the cloud. When a file gets corrupted or is missing, it will be missing when you reflash. PTF flashed me back to stock to make sure everything was working ok, then they reflashed my Stage 1 tune. Everything is fixed and I can flash without any issues.
