19" square setup? 54oi xDrive
Im looking to get a lighter set of wheels on my car, i originally had the 20 759's, cracked one over the winter, picked up a set of 706M reps, new tyres due soon so I'm thinking of a new setup in 19 inch, which will also give a bit more sidewall on the tires too
I came across the Motec Ultralight MCR2, however i only see them in g30 fitment in an 19 x 8.5 Et28 so 245/40/19 square tire setup, i would obviously lose the wider rear. Mine is xdrive so i need to be careful of tyre sizes and also there is limits to how wide you can go on an 8.5" wheel Anyone running a similar sized setup on a xdrive g30?

not sure of the details to your query, but have you considered something like this to allow for wider rears?
https://www.wheelbasealloys.com/allo...-g31?year=2019 or https://www.wheelbasealloys.com/allo...-g31?year=2019 probably a bit heavier then what you are considering... |

I’m running stock 19” rims and I still mess up a rim on a pot hole. Sucks.
I have 3 sets of stock rims. One winter set and 2 summer sets. Let $ and more effective then insurance. |

the main goal is lighter wheels with G30 CB so no need for spigot rings, staggered is a nice thing to keep but not the end of the world i guess, ill keep searching for 19 options and see what i can find

I have some Ispiri on mine, they are 20s (and cast) and weigh 13.8 -14.1kg fronts/rears respectively. They are a direct fitment without the need for spigot rings or spacers.
you could get something like the FFR6 from ispri in 19s, which hover around the 10kg mark https://www.iwautomotive.com/iw-ffr6.html |

A few more days of research and i think I've settled on these:
https://velonity.com/tec-speedwheels...777-319024798/ 8.5 front and 9.5 rear, with 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 rear for tires The have a a useful 3d configurator on their site to help visualize your wheel choices

I finally got a set of new wheels, from a company in Germany TEC Speedwheels GT-Race I in Matt bronze
Front wheels are 8.5x19 et25 8.5kg Rear wheels are 9.5 et36 9.15kg, so about 4 kg per corner lighter . Tyres are Continental sport contact 7 I'm lowered on MSS springs about 30mm I might lower the rear end a small bit and get some 5-10mm spacers to play with the wheels sitting a bit more flush in the arch
