'Excellent alternative' as in a similar or good bioavailability compared to whey? Or just doesn't taste like clay the way pea protein does?

My old Sony bluetooth speaker has decided it's not going to accept a charge anymore so it's Sony to the curb and Bose to the rescue. I just picked up a new Bose Soundlink Revolve. I hope it works as well as the old Sony did. I got years of service out of it. Time will tell.

Haha. Some music still sounds better with headphones/IEMs though, especially if you want to hear the depth of the bass or sub-bass. I downloaded FLAC files for each of those songs that I've posted and man do they sound good when playing back on the proper gear.
Enjoy your new Bose! |

I went with the Bose speaker because I have Bose headphones and I'm very happy with them. They're light, comfortable and sound amazing. Also, they're noise-cancelling so there is very little external noise to interfere with the music.

My dad was in town over the weekend for my birthday and wanted to help organize the garage a bit. I'm not complaining

Yeah I've tried that with no success. The poor old Sony has had a hard life and I'm pretty sure the USB C jack has been damaged inside the housing. The charging LED will light if you manage to wiggle the cord just right but it's impossible to hold it there for more than a few seconds. I've also tried known working cables with the same result. Like I said it's been thoroughly abused on a daily basis for a few years now so I don't mind replacing it. Thanks for the tip though.

My Black & Decker died after only two years. Thankfully I can still use the batteries for my other tools.
Although I have a lawn maintenance contractor, I like to work around my flower beds and smaller areas near the house. Attachment 2597036 Last edited by Lady Jane; 01-06-2022 at 05:16 PM.. |

My old bc was over 20 years old and it was time for an upgrade…..

Synaptic Carbon Ultegra. Had to buy it in Chicago and then get it home to Denver. Only one of three that made it to the US this year (that I know of) due to Covid supply chain issues. I had a few days off, found a cheap rental car, and had wanted to hit a really great tech-diving shop west of Chicago anyway, so it made a good excuse to do a "fly in- drive out" road trip. R.
