Well had my m550 nearly 3 months now couldn’t be more please , HOWEVER,
I’ve not got a buzzing vibration noise coming from what I think is the rear door when travelling over a rough road surface
Very irritating to say the least especially as the interior of the g30 is so quiet.

Biked in with the dealers so hopefully they can fix this

Presumably something not quite tightened up inside the door.

Don’t believe it’s anything else. I don’t have a sunroof which seems quite a common cause of noise .

Will report back on resolution (hopefully)in a couple of weeks time

The other common interior noise is a passenger headrest rattle. If it’s not the door, check the headrest.

Another is the passenger seatbelt when no one is in it. That’s an easy one, you can just adjust the rest position further up the pillar where it’s softer and doesn’t make noise.

Cheers, yeh not the seatbelt know that one!
Pretty sure it’s not the head test as I held on to that driving but the sound sis further away

Suspect I’ll have to drive around with a technician in the rear seat to diagnose

Shame as it’s pooled what was otherwise a superb car

Well hopefully it’s something you can find and fix. I had a rattle in the front of my 540 and it took me forever to identify what it was (partially because of procrastination) but I did eventually figure it out. Damn rain gutter off the windshield! The funny part is, once I knew what it was and how to fix it, I procrastinated again and never even got to it before I sold it to buy the M550!

Correct if that doesn’t work a rear roof spoiler will do the trick.

Also check the underbody panels, the pins can fail and they vibrate like crazy. People would literally stare at me due to vibrations from the subs under the seats, with the b&w system.

Took the car to the dealers yesterday and looks like they have managed to resolve the issue. Apparently put some padding in there somewhere
Journey back was silent .
Although not news to me , it is amazing how quiet the car is, the main noise being the tyres on the road. Get one of those rare occurrences where you drive over new super smooth tarmac and it’s whisper quiet

Very pleased indeed but will just check again on next couple of journeys.
