UK G30 order - best discount ?
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Best offer from a dealer via carwow so far, is about £45k, which is 14% off list, conditional on taking finance. I would have to collect the car, dealer is 2-3 hours drive away. Drivethedeal are about £1.3k more expensive, but include delivery to home. Anyone else in the UK willing to share their experience of getting the best price ? My local dealer has quoted via carwow but is > £2k off the best price. (* Adaptive drive, Comfort seats, Harman Kardon, some trim option) EDIT - coast2coast cars have quoted about £44k. Anyone used them recently ? The set up seems to be the same as carwow and drivethedeal - you get introduced to a BMW dealer once you've accepted a quote, and all dealings are with them from that point onwards. You know collecting the car costs a lot less than £1.3k and that 2-3 hour drive will be pretty special

19% is really quite impressive .
I thought that that sort of discount would not be available until a few years had passed so thats great. of course trade in values for the f10 I suspect will suffer as a result.... |

I think it's astonishing that a car like the 540i xdrive, dripping with standard kit, can be had in the UK for less than £40k, when the £ is in the toilet. It surely can't last: the same car in Germany must be 70k euros ?

Lease discounts are 18% as far as I know which as I understand it is pretty tight. 19% thus very impressive.

Thanks rza, very useful. And the setup with Broadspeed is the same ? They introduce you to a dealer and drop out of the picture ?
EDIT - answered my own question. Yes, they work the same way. They charge a £199 fee to you if you go ahead, but they're completely upfront about that. Looks good ! Last edited by morellomax; 04-13-2017 at 06:17 PM.. |

Yeah I'm glad I spent time looking around. When I started a month or 2 ago the deals were good but not as high. We have used broadspeed, drive the deal and carwow in the past and process is fairly similar and no issues with with of them.

When I spoke to Broadspeed, three months ago, it was explained that the figure quoted was for a Finance Deal ONLY and that if wanting to pay cash, it would be acceptable to take Finance and pay off the outstanding amount the next day. If not taking Finance (PCP) the discount they quoted had to be decreased by £1,550, which I think was the amount of Deposit Contribution by the Manufacturer, on the Finance Offer. |

Yep, but this will be true for all offers from dealers or brokers I suspect.
Drivethedeal's site lists the finance contribution elements of the discounts: https://www.drivethedeal.com/buy-a-n...OON/index.html You can see that the contributions are much bigger for the more expensive cars. |

Whats the latest deals people are getting?
Looking to order in a week's time. Looked at car wow and have had 2 quotes so far, the best being 6.5% off for cash. (Not looking for finance) So less that I was expecting from these forums. had in mind to ask for 14% off (cash buy) and see how it goes.Wondering if that's now too much? |

AP - you should take the finance then pay it off asap. Definitely worth it for the extra discount available.
Also, looks like coast2coast and broadspeed still beat carwow for discounts. Broadspeed are cheapest but (when I spoke to them a few weeks back) they seem a bit iffy about guaranteeing the price before you commit, whereas coast2coast seem more straightforward. |

Definitely. And any dealer taking large amounts of orders via a broker will be used to customers playing the game with finance, so it shouldn't cause any friction.
