The side badges are bad, but the fake metal plastic side flare vents below them are even worse. /delete those ASAP.

maybe when you come round to ordering you can put in a request to the factory to not put them on. no cost option?
or perhaps some dental floss and it will come off without too much effort? |

So glad the broken hood line is gone.
Dont mind the plastic buttons. Not a fan of chromed-plastic anywhere. The silver trim in the steeting wheel, the fender vent cap, window trim, should all be black. Unpainted soul-patch between the kidney grilles is odd. Some of the wheels are a little flashy-Kia looking. Very light cosmetic preference changes only. Overall really like it. Hope it doesn't drive like a muscle-pig. |

Car looks great overall. Two things I'm not liking are:
1. Door panels with bulging map pockets. This was so annoying and ugly on my F30. Plus this design makes it much easier to accidentally damage the panel material. 2. The hockey stick. I guess I need to see the car in person to decide, but it looks so out of place in some of the pics.

I got to see the new G30 in person today, and I must say I'm very happy with how it looks. It's a very nice evolution of the F10, and if it drives more like a 3-series than the F10 does it'll be awesome.

I also prefer the DA+ and HUD toggle switches below the lighting knob on the F10. I do not like the central toggle, which replaced unlock button, forcing user to cycle through each function. Quote:

Me either. I would just like the M-sport F10 wheels in a gunmetal finish. Quote:

Good eye! However, on the G30, it's an additional RADAR unit that has to do with the more autonomous driving capabilities they're introducing in the G30, previously unseen in the other 2016/7 BMW models.

If I recall correctly, the press note said that the G30 decked out was capable of seeing two cars ahead, as well as tracking cars in different lanes ahead. So one sensor may not have been enough. |

I'm afraid the vents are here to stay. But they should have the option though of removing that vent for those who don't want it. |

As you say vents are fundamental in getting excellent aerodynamics, getting gains in fuel efficiency. That would mean a different EPA rating. Simply for a 'delete vents' option.
