MP style front lip installation help
Hi
I purchased a MP style front lip, but it came with 2 self tapping screws and 8 nuts and bolts. I took a look under the car, and the holes on the lip seems to mostly align with the plastic rivets, which cannot be access for nuts and bolts easily even if I go through the wheel well. Any one has experience installing this lip and can share how they installed it? Thanks. |

I'm doing the front lip on mine and ran into a related issue. Yes, you'll have to figure out how to get your hands in there to use the nuts and bolts.
Alternatively (and hopefully, remains to be seen), I ordered a couple different style/size fender screws and clips. I'm going to see if I can use the clips on the inner plastic panel, and then the screws in place of the plastic rivets. Might be able to do this today, depending on weather. I'm also going to see if this setup will work in place of the OEM plastic screw clips, since those can strip out easily over time, and one of mine already is. |
