Check aliexpress. theres quite a few. Be sure to message the seller to ask if its the vstar brand, and it has the drive letters on it.

No issues at all. It's been a yr. Ive done about 15k miles since instal. Car is always parked outside. Hot weather and direct sunlight didn't not affect it at all. Still works as good as new.

I just got the VStar knob but I'm wondering how to route the ribbon cable. Does the crystal knob have to come apart?

What's happening is the ribbon cable runs up along the back of the shifter. When you put the shifter on it pushes the cable back down. I was thinking that, okay, the knob has to come apart into two pieces and then I can run the ribbon cable up and inside like the OEM shifter but there doesn't seem to be a way that I can see.

The crystal knob didn't come with any instructions.

Edit: Aaaaaaand now I need a new ribbon cable. FML.

Where did you locate the vstar shifter on Alliexpress. Only one I can find is over $600 usd.

Try Alibaba.Com then do a search on VSTAR. Mine was $238.00 but I don’t think the ribbon cable came with it.
