Damn! That looks like quality work. And it seems like it's all mandrel bend. I just ordered the Dinan D660-0080 - High Flow 3" Stainless Steel Pipe because the local guy here doesn't do mandrel bends. What was your cost and what, if they mentioned, the price for a custom exhaust.

The custom mid pipe was $800 but this sound is worth it. They also do their own carbon fiber fab here too. |

So now I am considering a straight pipe resonator delete. BUT I don't want too much sound, definitely not a ton of pops and bangs, but something spirited. I am new to exhaust modifications. From what I have read, a resonator delete, whether straight pipe or X, sounds exactly the same as stock in comfort mode. This is appealing to me. No matter what route I go, I will be adding the Dinan remote flap switch just in case Sport mode is too loud for the setting I might be in but want the power and handling. Any input you might have to anything I have written would be helpful.

In comfort mode it's slightly deeper, no drone. In sport/Sport + it sounds amazing. These cars have a good amount of insulation from noise too, so you don't really know how loud it is until you let someone else drive it with you outside. |

Remove all the resonators on a 2018/2019. The 2020-2022 has a different muffler and from my ear listening to resonator delete on the later cars, its a lot louder, both with and without resonators compared to comparable 2018/2019. I looked up on realoem, and sure enough the part number is different for the muffler on 2020-2022 to compared to 2018-2019

Looking into them now. My SA is telling me that any exhaust change that's not a BMW approved exhaust would possibly void my warranty.
