Thanks again for your help. I was able to negotiate 12.38% off MSRP on a 2020 540 with 67.5k MSRP prior to the incentives/rebates etc. A number of dealers quoted me back at MSRP and seemed unwilling to budge.

No it was inclusive. NC tax isn't much though at 3% of the lease payment. My deal unraveled though since the dealer couldn't guarantee I would have 6k in incentives on the 21 once the production was cancelled.

Thank you for your reply. Yeah, most likely you might not get the $6k on the 21

which dealer in NC did you worked with? thx

Looks like lease deals got much worse in June. Crazy they would go up so much, unless incentives are just not out yet.

I did not get quoted, but was just comparing the lease deals on BMW US website for June compared to May. Hopefully, I am wrong.

They don’t have the first two months of half payments anymore on a lease though - right? Thanks!

I will have to call Audi to extend my lease another month which I can do until 12/21/20. Hopefully, I will be able to order and accept delivery of my custom build 2021 M550i before December. If not, I will have to buy my 2017 Audi S6 and then trade it when the new BMW becomes available.

I placed an order for my 2021 5 Series yesterday. Weird you can’t order yet.

Is the loyalty on the 2020 540i $1k or $2k? It says $2k on the first post but dealer is saying $1k (in Florida). Which is it?

Did anyone else know that BMW FS was running a program where they're making first 2 months payments complimentary? I leased a 540ix here in NJ on May 27th. I just got my FS account configured and see a notation that the first 2 months are gratis. Sure enough, the credits are already posted to my account. Pretty cool!

Here in GA they didn't offer any lease credit or loyalty on the 2021 540... I had to walk away from the table. Because that doesn't seem right.

I don't think BMW has released the incentives details for the 2021 5 series yet. However, all the dealers I was in touch with agreed to give whatever incentives would be available when the car arrives.

I'm assuming BMW will release the incentives on 2021 5 series when the cars start arriving to the dealers.

Garage List
2021 BMW M550i  [0.00]
I noticed at a local BMW dealer that the new 2020 BMW 5s on the lot have discounted prices posted prominently in the windshields. If you can find what you want for a 2020 model in inventory, you can get a good deal.

I also noticed that the same dealer that had their parking lot full of new cars, mostly SUVs and 3-series, now have a lot of empty parking spaces as their inventory dwindles.

My 2021 M550i is custom built and in the manufacturing queue for a mid-August delivery. I'm looking forward to my new ride after leasing 4 Audi A6s and 2 S6s over the past 14 years.

It's tough currently as BMW didn't give any dealers rebates/incentives listed for MY 21. If you are interested in a '21 540, PM me and I can order you one and we can discuss. I'm in SC.
