Hi guys, I just bought a 2021 5 series and I am looking at getting a tire and wheel warranty for it and I wanted to see if there is anyone on here who has a good point person or referral for who to get a contract from? I know its only from dealers (can be bmw or even not bmw) but I am looking for 5 years or more and it needs to include cosmetic damage for curb rash and whatnot and even if possible no deductible or like $50 max deductible.

I have had multiple tire and wheel warranties on my past bmw cars from CNA and mercedes first class wheel and tire and even the OEM BMW tire and wheel warranty and I am fine with any of them as long as the price is good/in the range. Usually it comes out to about $1500-1700 for the 5 years as I have bought it in the past each time and that is perfect.

I would love any help or messages on anyone you may have worked with or bought a tire and wheel warranty from so I can talk to them as well. I appreciate everyone's time and hopefully this can help others in the same situation as well.

My dealer won’t sell me one unless it’s at time of purchase. If you find one that will, let me know please.

They have great prices, i got them at the time of purchase from them but not throught the dealer.

Yes you do and AAA is worth every penny. If you are a Gold Preferred Member, it is cheaper. You can buy this plan ANY time on any vehicle, not just at the time of purchase or financing.

I purchased my plan from a Volvo dealership based on a post on the other forum. I have had the plan for over a year and it has been easy to use and has worked well. So I am able to recommend it. One thing it covers that usually isn’t covered is bent wheels that hold air. I haven’t had a tire failure or cracked wheel yet, but I have had bent wheels repaired under this plan.

It also covers PDR and interior damage. I have used the PDR, but not interior leather damage.

I am over $1K in successful claims to date. So I may be top side by expiration in 2029.

I paid $2991 in 1/2021 for 84 months. I had already had my car for 2 years when purchased.

When I got my tires replaced earlier this year. One tire had a gash on the interior portion. So the plan paid for that tire. My dealership wasn’t sure it would be covered under a wheel & tire, but submitted it at my request. They figured it wouldn’t be covered as the tire held air. It was covered saving me $400, for instance.

I have Tripple A but also have road service through GEICO. Just always carried AAA.

100% worth every penny. I just had the dealer replace two front tires that had bubbles on the sidewalls. The job was approved in an hour, 100% covered. No hassle. I didn't pay a dime. The dealer even commented stating that Smart Autocare (the insurance co name) has always been a great company to deal with.

Paid $2097.00 for 84 mos coverage.

So I called and she said you have to be located in the northeast region to qualify and it's only serving these regions in CT, MA, NH, NJ, NY & RI.
