Anyone know if golf clubs will fit in the trunk?

It might be a bit too early to ask but does anyone know if a set of golf clubs will fit in the trunk? or maybe even 2 sets?

I'm having trouble as it is fitting my clubs in my E36... I have to take the driver out of the bag and put it separately in order to get them to fit.

thanks

^+1 One of the reviews confirmed it.

And if not, it's two sets of clubs, ergo two people, so you can fold down the rear seats.

Ive seen someone in a tiny little porsche stuff his golf bag in the back, so i assume that it could fit easily in the 1.

Were you refering to real metal golf clubs or this?

In fact, you could probably fit the toddler with the golf club in the trunk:biggrin:

i'm thinking drivers will have to be taken out the bag to 'easily' fit 2 golf bags.

Why would anyone want to go golfing when they could be driving their 1 instead?

space

Here is a question for you lucky people who have had the opportunity to drive, and to inspect, the 135i: Is there enough room to transport 4 tires / rims between the trunk and back seat????

Don't know for sure, but I would be surprised if you could not fit them with the rear- seats folded. But, I have not had enough experience in the car to definitely conclude anything. So this is not written in stone...

bmw claims that we'll be able to fit two golf-club bags in the trunk.... but i'd assume the convertible version would not be the same

I have to do the same thing with E90 so I would guess you have to do that with the coupe too.

Don't worry about it.
I was able to fit 2 medium sized golf bags (each with a full set of clubs) comfortably in my Z4 with the top down.
The 1-Series trunk is even larger, so fogetaboudit...
