MIA: M3 Clay & Wax

Car is now 4 mo. and looking incredible after this detail job. It had to be done because some idiot decided to spray paint the exterior of some near by warehouses in 15+ MPH winds, causing over spray on many cars at the office. I allmost cried and was enfuriated about this!!! our company got involved to get a resolution to this matter, but turned rather slow with calls and e-mails. I did not want some mobile joe-smo detailer to touch my prise posesion ever !! All boiled down to me getting the job done right.

List of Items used:
-Meguiars Quick Detailer kit: Comes with 2 Clay bars, cloth and Cleaner Wax.

-BMW shampoo
-BMW Hardwax
-BMW Wheel Cleaner
-Absorber dry towel
-Multiple Cotton cloths
-Time: 4hrs.

Below a few cell pics. Looks better than when I took delivery !!!
If you are having similar issues and having second thoughts PM me,
I'll walk you through it.

That is some dirty clay indeed. It's amazing how well it works. Great job and great looking ride.

you'd be surprised to see clay after doing a "brand-new car" that spent some time shipping, on the rails, on a transport truck and then possibly for a while on the lot.

more often than not, id say a 4 month old car, professionally detailed looks better than "showroom condition"...

definatley agree with this. It was certainly true with my car, when i picked it up it looked like a pig 2 months later i had it detailed and it looked great. Alot of people also thinkt that because a car is new it doesnt need to be clayed by as you stated during transportation the cars are put through hell

The car looks way better, it doesn't matter how new your car is, it picks up polutants on a normal day to day, I plan on doing this regularly.

Plus the it's ready for Sat's CEC M3 meet, a quick rinse and it's ready to go!!!

If you want to feel what you can't see... put your hand in a plastic sandwich bag and run it over your "clean" car. You will feel little bumps all over it, especially on the hood, roof and trunk.

Clay the car (fine clay, lots of lube) and wipe it dry. Now feel with the plastic bag. Smooth as a babies butt. The best thing is it makes removing the polish and wax a breeze.

I like the Detailer Domain blue UBER clay bar and Adam's detail spray for the lube.

TIP: Your BRAND NEW car needs clay the day you take it from the dealer.
