Edit, it’s actually not even close- night vision, remote control parking, rear seat entertainment, 4 zone climate control, ambient air package, etc missing. Do most people care about any of these? Probably not, but they exist.

How many of those were available in the US? You’re right, they’re so rare that I forget about them. Rear seat entertainment sounds good but I’d never use it. I’d like to see what night vision is all about.

Technically all of them- all but 4 zone are on the 2020 pricing guide.

I have both and honestly neither are very good. Rse doesn’t really do anything better than a couple of tablets and does a lot of things worse. My opinion might change if my child gets to use it- it’s somewhat geared to the use case of a parent in the front controlling what their kid(s) watch in the back, ideally off a usb stick. Night vision works as advertised but can’t operate side by side with carplay, else I’d use it more often. Good for secluded roads and identifying joggers not wearing high viz gear. I’d probably take the high end trim and leather options over both.

The weird options I do find useful are remote control parking and ambient air. Both have been gone for years and probably are never coming back.

I feel like the remote control parking would be odd to use/trust. But I could probably use it in my tight garage. Probably would enjoy ambient air more than I’d think.

From what I recall, plum wood is a lot more common in Canada than stateside. I’m pretty sure it was significantly cheaper to option.

What’s funny is how many people and dealers claim they have “fully loaded” cars. I have not seen a single M550i anywhere that truly is. Several on this board have ones that come close, but are always missing a thing or two.
lol, I also find the way people and dealers throw around “fully loaded”. The days of a car being fully loaded because it had power windows, seats, locks and cruise control are over.

That is quite a deal. An equivalent here in Germany would cost around 60k at present prices.

I bought my non-LCI 540 a year ago and paid more than that.

Many times you'll see "fully loaded.... except"
