I was going to go with another dash cam (Blackvue), but after seeing this and chatting with Blazen, this is what i'm buying. Very stealthy looking and is plug and play. Fairly easy install. No worries about battery drain because cam shuts off with car.

I have it. I have owned it since it came out and I had it in my Mercedes then moved it to my G30. I like it, but haven’t seen if anything newer is better.

I had the BlackVue Dr900s-2ch in the M2C. It was already pre-wired by the previous owner, so I just purchased the cameras. It did not always play nice with my phone and I was hoping that it would be more seamless as far as seeing videos on my phone without having to tinkle around with it all the time.

You may be getting a newer version that works better.

Have the revised 700 series in my wife's car. Video is so so, audio capture quality is poor, rear camera is ok, app is crap for a high end camera, software support is bizarre (have removed specific settings with software updates). Knowing what I know now, would've gone with a different brand.

Another forum member suggested to order from Fitcamx directly, better price - https://fitcamx.com/. I'm going to go with this one too.

Let us know if you go with the rear-view camera add-on. Curious how easy / complex it is to route the wiring.

Spyder, I did check that. The website vs Amazon is $10 difference, but if you order via the website they add shipping. Amazon does not. So I went with Amazon and the 4k front only cam.

I got an email from them this morning asking to send pics of the back of my mirror and exact make/model so they could ship the correct cam. I thought that was impressive.

I've posted about dash cams on the M5 forum as well. And EVERYONE is saying if the dealership sees a camera, they automatically disconnect it or turn it off. As Blazen mentioned earlier to me, he's been to the dealer several times with this setup and they dont even notice it. I think thats awesome.

I went to the dealer this week and it wasn't disconnected. They didn't even realize it was there. With it hardwired to mirror power with non-oem trim, it's not a simple unplug from the dash cam on windshield.
